Overview
The PITTAR FT Series is a premium range of 12V Front Terminal Valve Regulated Lead Acid (VRLA) batteries, specifically engineered for high-reliability standby power applications. With a robust 12-year design life in float service, these batteries are the ideal power solution for telecommunications, UPS systems, and other critical backup scenarios.
Designed for modern power systems, the FT series features a unique front terminal layout that facilitates easy installation, maintenance, and cable connection in standard 19-inch and 23-inch cabinets. The batteries utilize advanced AGM (Absorbent Glass Mat) separators with a centralized venting system, ensuring high reliability, low internal resistance, and consistent performance across the entire battery string.
Capable of delivering high surge currents on demand, the FT series offers excellent discharge performance across a wide temperature range. Combined with a very low self-discharge rate, these batteries provide dependable, long-term backup power with minimal maintenance.
